The 2nd Annual Lafayette vs Lehigh 15 mile Challenge is a one of a kind event that will be an individual challenge with a team twist! The run will begin on Lafayette campus in Easton and end up blocks away from Lehigh in the south side of Bethlehem, PA. During registration, runners will pick a side to support – whether it is your alma mater, a family tradition or you just like brown better than maroon or leopards more than mountain hawks…pick your side. All runners are automatically entered into the challenge….the team with the most runners in the top 50% of finishers will earn an extra award!

In partnership with Lehigh University and Lafayette College, a portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the Bethlehem & Easton Area School District Foundations in support of health and wellness activities.
The Course:
After the Lafayette campus start – the course will travel through Easton by starting on Bushkill Drive to 4th Street and landing on Lehigh Drive. Runners will take Lehigh Drive to Riverside Park and pick up the D&L trail for the bulk of their trek to Bethlehem. In Bethlehem, runners will reach sand island and loop around to cross the Fahy Bridge into the South Side of Bethlehem. Off the bridge, runners will take the ramp to loop back down for a finish on First Street.
(Please note, course is not 100% finalized and is subject to change upon final approval from both cities)
What do I get?
In addition to a fun, well-organized event — All runners will receive a long-sleeved race shirt – finisher medal and post-race water, food, beer and entertainment. Shirts/Sizes are guaranteed if registered by November 4th. There will be aid stations along the way starting in Riverside Park in Easton, along the D&L trail and on Sand Island. Runners will also have an option to select a shuttle (for $5) to take you from Bethlehem to the starting point in Lafayette so you don’t need to worry about your car. Relay runners must provide their own transportation to relay exchanges.

June 1 – July 31: $75 Individual // $90 Team of 2 // $135 Team of 3
August 1 – September 30: $85 // $100 Team of 2 // $150 Team of 3
October 1 – November 16: $95 // $110 Team of 2 // $165 Team of 3
Race Day: $100 // No race day registration for teams
Individual registration closes at November 16th for individual
Team registration is limited to the first 100 teams or October 15th — whichever comes first

1st, 2nd and 3rd for each age group (14-20, 21-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+)
First place team: Men, Women, Co-ed
